Gomo Gomo Bush Camp

Welcome to the Wild

Gomo Gomo Bush Camp is situated in the well known Timbavati private game reserve. Home to the original pride of the famous White Lions, Elephants, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra and other general game. The Timbavati have a common unfenced border with the Kruger Park ensuring a great diversity of wildlife.

Traversing area of Gomo Gomo is extensive with an interesting and scenic landscape. Open 4 x 4 landrovers with professional rangers and skilled Shangaan trackers will ensure an exciting and informative drive. The lodge boast big waterholes, which attract animals and are home to hippo and crocodile. During the guided bushwalk wildlife interpretations will give new meaning to creatures big and small.

Relaxing between drives and the guided walk next to the sunny swimming pool or shaded boma under century old leadwood trees. Situated on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River Hippo and Crocodiles can be viewed.

The camp comprises five fully furnished thatched chalets, with en suite facilities each. In the shade of huge Jackalberry and weeping Boerbean trees, guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the bush, watching birds and animals drinking water.

Gomo Gomo can accommodate 10 to 16 guests. All rooms have twin beds and the Honeymoon suite has a queen size bed. Thatch roofs are Africa's way of providing natural air cooling.

An open thatched roofed lapa provides a cool lounge area with comfortable chairs, tables and a view of the river. Dinner is also served in the boma under an African starlit sky and long hours may be spent by campfire while you listen to the sounds of the bush.
