The dream began more than seventy years ago, when two friends stood for
the first time on the banks of the Sand River, where the water ran clear
and cool over the granite rocks and the bushveld stretched to the
horizon, untrammelled by the feet of man since the beginning of time. It
is here, where that first campfire was built amidst the roar of lions,
that Londolozi stands to this day, now three elegant camps and the first
safari lodge to be awarded Relais & Chateaux membership.
